My wedding is 11 months away. This will give guests ample time to make travel plans. Many guests will respond as soon as they get an invitation but to leave time for the procrastinators allow two to four weeks from the time you send out the invitation. If invitations should go out six to eight weeks before the wedding what date should i put on the response cards.

A few important things to remember while considering this data. Send your invitations out between 6 and 10 weeks before your wedding date. For our july 25 wedding i m asking for the rsvps by june 26th. Invites go out 6 8 weeks before the wedding so your mail date would be somewhere in the first half of july.

Leaving a guest two to four weeks to respond should be plenty of time. Rsvps should be due two months before the wedding and the wedding invitations should be sent out approximately four months before the wedding. May is far too early to be sending invitations. So for august 28 rsvp date would be around august 7 give or take a week. We recommend closer to 10 weeks if you re having more than a handful of out of town guests.
